Lyft now offers Ski Rack option in Colorado, making it easier to get your gear to the slopes — The Know from The Denver Post

You can lug your skis to and from the mountain, or you could grab them (and you) a Lyft now in Colorado. (Denver Post file)

There’s nothing like a hot, sweaty ski resort shuttle jam-packed with people and all their ski gear to get you psyched for a day on the slopes.

On second thought, there’s got to be a better way.

Ride-share service Lyft announced Ski Rack has arrived in Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Snowmass, Steamboat Springs, Telluride, Winter Park and Granby to make those car-free trips to the mountains a little easier (or just your post-aprés ride home).

When you open the app, there will be a Ski Rack option under ride types, according to the release. Riders will be charged the ride fare plus $8 for the rack-specific vehicle that can carry two snowboards or four sets of adult skis, the post added, and can be split among the group like other rides.

Pro tip: Get $5 off your first Ski Rack ride here.
